Marty Wygmans is the Project Director
for TRIO Programs at Binghamton University. She oversees the university's Student Support Services and Upward Bound programs. As part of her duties she writes the grant proposals
which fund Upward Bound and Student Support Services. Additionally, she supervises staff, handles budgetary matters, and
ensures compliance with federal regulations. Marty also serves on the Board of Directors for the Association for Equality and Excellence in Education. She has a Bachelor of Arts in
Business and Master of Arts in Agency Counseling.
Kim Allen Gleed is Associate Director and
Academic Counselor for Student Support Services. She has been working as an advisor to students at Binghamton University
for six years. Kim provides academic, personal, and career counseling to students. She also teaches courses and
workshops on campus ranging from college study skills and time management to Irish language and literature. She has a
Doctor of Philosophy in Comparative Literature.
Joshua Griswold is an Academic
Counselor for Student Support Services. Previously Josh was a Social Worker and Counselor for various residential and
non-residential treatment facilities where he provided individual and group counseling to youth of various ages. He
provides academic, personal and career counseling to students. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Justice.
Cindy Kery is Assistant Director for
Administrative Services of TRIO Programs. A former Upward Bound student, she began working part-time for TRIO in 1976.
Cindy is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the TRIO Office. This includes student tracking, federal reporting,
room reservations and paperwork such as applications, consent forms and stipends. She also handles Veteran Services
paperwork. She has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies and a Master of Arts in Social Science.
